The Right to the City Event at Share the Warmth

This is a rough video sharing the final performance (mostly the music) by Theatre students in the Right to the City course, a tethered teaching initiative in Pointe Saint-Charles, a postindustrial neighbourhood in Montreal’s south-west.

Professors Cynthia Hammond, Steven High, and Ted Little collaborated with the support of Concordia University, Share the Warmth/Partageons L’espoir, and the Atwater Library in this initiative to bring students out of the institution and into the city, to learn with and from this special neighbourhood. Thanks to the Theatre students for their beautiful song, to Thomas Strickland for filming/capturing sound and some images, and to David Ward for the majority of the stunning photos used in this video.
